👋 Here are some things to keep in mind about meetings:

→ Our very first meeting will usually be about 20 minutes or so (give or take).

→ Appointment reminders are in Mountain Time (if you live in Central or Eastern Time, the reminders are an hour or two ahead of you).

→ All the work I do is online, which means this meeting will be an online video call.

→ Before we meet, you'll receive an email that includes the link to join the video call.
‍
→ You can join the video call from your phone (it'll have you download an app) or your computer.
‍
→ Our meeting will be to figure out if we feel we're a good match for each other for regular sessions.

→ If you are more than 10 minutes late, I'll consider it a missed call. If you find you've missed our first call, it'll be up to you to reach out to reschedule this meeting.

→ If you find you won't make it, for any reason, please email to cancel or reschedule our appointment.

→ Full length sessions are usually between 45-50 minutes long.

→ If you are more than 15 minutes late, it's considered a late cancellation/missed session and the full session fee will apply.

→ If you do reschedule or cancel our session, I ask that you give me at least 24 hours notice to avoid any fees. You can email, use the appointment confirmation system, or leave a voicemail to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

→ You may cancel up to 4 sessions per calendar year without paying the session fee as long as you provide 24 hours notice. If you cancel any sessions beyond those 4 for any reason, you will be responsible for the cancellation fee.

→ I recommend that you set up in a place where you can be alone and have strong internet.
‍
→ I also want you to be safe, so I also ask that you not multitask, if possible.  Doing things like driving during our session not only makes it difficult to focus but could be placing you in a dangerous situation and I don’t want to have that happen.  

→ I reserve the right to cancel an appointment if I have safety concerns, including those related to multitasking, and I reserve the right to charge the fee for those appointments.

→ If we get disconnected, you can use the same link to rejoin as long as it's before the session time window has closed. If you cannot reconnect, you can email or call me.

→ I reserve the right to charge the fee for sessions that do not happen because of technology reasons, especially if there is no communication about those technology issues.

→ If you suspect that you'll have any internet issues, please let me know ahead of time, and we can discuss the potential for a phone call instead of video.
